We're working to begin a new construction project. Thank you to everyone patiently and willingly waiting for the first volunteer workday.

What: ...... TBA Workday task - House framing (all skill levels welcome)
Who: ....... TBA 70 volunteers are needed to frame the house. Please bring your hammer and gloves if available. Lunch and beverages provided.
Typical Workday Schedule:
8:15 AM Meet at Douglas County Chamber of Commerce back parking lot (6658 Church St, Douglasville, 30134) next to Regions Bank.
8:20 AM Volunteer registration, brief orientation, site directions, parking instructions, workday assignments, and safety review.
8:35 AM Depart Group will depart for the work site.
8:50 AM Perform construction assignments at work site.
12:00 PM 30 minute lunch on site (provided to Douglas Habitat volunteers unless otherwise notified in advance)
12:35 PM Back to work!
3:15 PM Clean Up

Note: This schedule is tentative and subject to change based upon weather, accomplishments of prior week(s), inspections and unforeseen challenges. Specific tasks for the week's build will be included in volunteer email updates. Habitat will do its best to notify volunteers in a timely fashion.

All supplies are provided and are packaged per house and delivered prior to the workday. During the day, if additional materials are needed, please advise the Habitat staff.
