Douglas County Habitat for Humanity (DCHFH) was established in 1991in Douglasville, Georgia, and is affiliated with Habitat for Humanity International. We are a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that builds houses in partnership with Douglas County families in need.

April is Douglas County Habitat for Humanity Month 

Douglas County, GA — March 13, 2008 — The month of April 2008 is Douglas County Habitat for Humanity Month ( “ Douglas Habitat Month ”) featuring a series of meetings and activities designed to build awareness and support for Douglas County Habitat for Humanity's mission of building affordable homes in partnership with lower-income families living or working in Douglas County.

Holiday Gift Ignites Momentum for
Douglas County Habitat for Humanity

Douglas County Habitat for Humanity received a remarkable partial sponsorship of $30,000 from an anonymous donor. Sponsors for the remaining $50,000 for the next home are still being sought.
